Fortney Investment Advisors, Inc. is a Registered Investment Advisor in the State of Nevada. The educational background and employment history of FIA’s officer and investment advisor is outlined below. FIA requires each person with professional designations to complete annual continuing education requirements. Advisory personnel must have sufficient business experience and commitment to Modern Portfolio Theory.

Business Background: Owner Fortney Investment Advisors, Inc. from 2001 to present. Owner Kenneth L. Fortney, CPA, PC from 1983 to present. Previous experience with Roger Hildahl, CPA from 1982 to 1983, Alder, Green & Hasson, CPAs from 1981 to 1982, Baden, Conrad, Gage & Schroeder, CPAs from 1980 to 1981, and George S. Olive & Co., CPAs from 1977 to 1980.

During tax season, from January to April 15th, Kenneth L. Fortney, CPA/PFS devotes most of his time to the preparation of income tax returns and related tax accounting. During the tax interviews with clients, client portfolios are discussed and reviewed. Annual tax planning takes place in the last quarter of the year and all clients are encouraged to participate. During the balance of the year Kenneth L. Fortney CPA/PFS devotes most of his time to portfolio management and advisory client meetings.
